A one-semester survey course for non-biology majors. Key concepts includebiological chemistry, cell structure and function, energy and metabolism,organization of multicellular organisms, genetics, evolution and ecology. Notes:(1) Course specifically designed for non-science majors. (2) Fulfills SUNY-GENatural Sciences. (3 hrs. lecture, 2 hrs. laboratory) Prerequisite: MAT007 orequivalent.
