Catalog description

The summer co-op experience will provide the students the opportunity to buildon the skills required to be successful in the workplace. This course is designedto reinforce classroom learning through a supervised hands on experience at theworksite. Students will be required to complete 400 hours of co-op time duringthe summer co-op. Students must successfully complete all four portfolio classesand one summer co-op experience for a total of 640 hours of total workexperience to graduate. Registration in each of these courses requires thatstudents purchase liability insurance through the College. (offered summersemester only) (3 hrs. practicum) Prerequisite: AUT105, AUT112, and AUT125.
