Catalog description

This course will cover the theory, maintenance, repair and diagnosis ofautomotive Steering and Suspension Systems. Laboratory procedures willinclude hands-on study of above lecture topics. Major topics will include: Wheels,tires, steering and suspension components, and wheel alignment. The use ofappropriate service information, tools and equipment will be emphasized. Thiscourse provides basic theory and hands-on experience required for successfulcompletion of ASE area A4: Suspension and Steering. (offered spring semesteronly) (2 hrs. lecture, 2 hrs. laboratory) Prerequisite: AUT112 and AUT113.
