The course facilitates students' transition to and success at Suffolk CountyCommunity College. Students gain understanding of the primary workplace skillsrequired by the automotive industry, including time management, goal setting,teamwork, conflict resolution and diversity in the workplace. Through discussions,readings, critical thinking and information literacy, students will develop academicskills, a connection with the College, and a familiarity with college resources andservices as they prepare to begin a career in the automotive industry. Studentsare expected to enroll in this class in their first semester. No prerequisite. Offeredon: A-E-G
