Catalog description
Integrates well-developed American Sign Language communicative skills withinteractive opportunities within the community of language users, i.e., the deafcommunity. Emphasis on cultural aspects inherent in the language: literature,values and attitudes, regional and social variations. Note: Fulfills SUNY-GEWorld Languages. (offered spring semester only) (3 hrs. lecture, 3 hrs.laboratory) Prerequisite: ASL201.
