Catalog description

Students gain an understanding of digital video production process and developproficiency with camera equipment and editing software. Sound and lightingtechniques will be investigated and utilized. Research, analysis and discussion ofexisting video works will be explored. Assignments guide students in the creationof fine art, editorial, and commercial videos. Students are required to have anyfully adjustable camera with video capabilities, tripod, memory card, storagedrive, and some other supplies. (2 hrs. lecture, 3 hrs. laboratory) Prerequisite:ART145.
