You will understand the various regulatory agencies, policies and guidelines within the healthcare industry and identify ways to maneuver through it and drive results. You will learn about the impact of the Affordable Care Act and attempts to reform the U.S. healthcare system from a federal and state perspective. This course will explore various laws governing healthcare institutions and dilemmas faced by managers in the industry.
