Catalog description
This course provides students with an understanding of the strategies, planning and analytical tools needed for meeting customer demand and for managing supply chains. It equips students to understand the complexities of the movement of goods and services and the handoff from one owner/organization to the next. The course covers the topics of forecasting, capacity planning, operations planning and scheduling, inventory management, Lean systems, supply chain management and logistics and the movement of goods and services across international borders, including the regulations and requirements associated with managing a global supply chain. Course Residency Requirement This course is not eligible for transfer credit and must be taken at Strayer.
