Catalog description

A course given in English on cultural, social, political, or artistic connections between the Francophone world and other French-speaking communities pertaining to decentered areas of Western influence or of lesser-established linguistic contact, such as South Asia and the Asia-Pacific rims. May be used to satisfy requirements or electives in Globalization Studies and International Relations. May also count toward the major or minor in Asian and Asian American Studies, with the permission of the Undergraduate Program Director of the Department of Asian and Asian American Studies. No knowledge of foreign language required.
