Introduces students to the health care profession of Athletic Training. This course will explore the history and development of the profession and the concept of the sports medicine team. This course provides definitions associated with the practice of athletic training. Reviews the scope of athletic training practice in relation to other health professions. Facilitates discussion about athletic training practice areas, interprofessional practice, and professional behavior. Open to west campus students with permission of department. G/P/NC grading option is not available.
