The study of major trends, theories, interpretative methodologies, and techniques of literary criticism and theory. These philosophical, aesthetic, and social perspectives provide a foundation for further inquiry into media studies, ecocriticism, race, ethnicity, and migration, as well as different literary periods, genres, and styles. Covers the Genre and Media topic for the English major.
