Catalog description
This interdisciplinary course introduces students to artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications. Students will gain an understanding of AI’s potential, its limitations, and strategies for effectively engaging with AI tools. Case studies in (for example) persuasion and communication, climate science, creative arts (fine art, music, etc.), computer science, and social sciences will demonstrate the broad societal impact of AI. The course encourages critical thinking about both the potential of AI and the challenges imposed by AI in shaping our future.
