Catalog description
This laboratory course illustrates some of the principles, processes, and reactions presented in CHE 310 / ENV 320 . The course focuses on the techniques and instrumentation (including UV-visible spectroscopy, ion chromatography, X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy, and atomic absorption spectroscopy) used in the analysis of water, soil, and biomass. The project phase of the course focuses on the application of these analyses. Not to be taken for additional credit if previously completed ENV 321.
