Catalog description

An advanced investigation of the history, contemporary practice, and techniques of sculpture, installation, and expansions of art in the public realm. Students will explore ideas as research through readings, discussions, and critiques. Emphasis is on the conceptual investigation, and artistic expression through experimentation and production in space/time inquiry. Examinations of ideas through alternative visual processes may be explored.
