PRODUCTION DESIGN FOR CREATIVE PROJECTS

Catalog description

A comprehensive study how production designers plan and create the many wide-ranging facets of a production for stage, screen, and beyond. Students will learn and practice how to prepare and execute designs for Lighting, Scenery, Props, Costumes, Production Design, and more for theatre, TV, and film. Students will also be given a practicum opportunity to apply these learned techniques in the scene shop, where they will work hands-on with the technical director to help build shows and assist in backstage productions.
