ACTING FUNDAMENTALS

Catalog description

Required for all first-year Theatre students. This course is designed to give participants an introduction to the art of acting and the performance process. It will train both the body and the mind of the performer through work on the following mental and physical skills: imagination, creativity, concentration, character analysis, performance evaluation, inter- and intra-personal awareness, presence, expressiveness, and relaxed readiness. Registration by permission of instructor.
