Prerequisite: GNM 1125 or equivalent. Not open to those with credit for GSS 1033.International/multicultural course. (Formerly "Population Studies") Growth and change in the composition of population, causes and consequences of the "population explosion" and other population problems globally, nationally and regionally. Interrelationship of population variables (fertility, mortality and migration) and social, economic, political, and ecological factors. Qualitative and quantitative analyses on the micro and macro levels.Faculty: S. DONALDSON
