INTRO TO MEDICAL REIMBURSEMENT

Catalog description

This course provides students with in-depth instruction on medical reimbursement as it relates to revenue cycle management including registration, billing, accounts receivables, and case controls. It also provides knowledge in standard business practices for implementing processes and using analytical tools to monitor financial performance. Students will research reimbursement policies, fee schedules and the pros and cons of Electronic Health Records.
