Catalog description
This Law seminar is about the First Amendment, covering both freedom of speech and freedom of religion. We will study First Amendment history and theory, the particular freedoms the amendment protects, and the circumstances under which the state may seek to limit those freedoms. Case studies will be used and we will analyze specific judicial decisions to illustrate the issues covered by the course. Faculty: STAFF
