POLITICS & ISSUES IN EDUCATION

Catalog description

The purpose of the course is to provide an in-depth examination of the connection between educational reform issues and policy initiatives and the political process. Both "how" and "why" politics and educational reform are linked will be explored. Key contemporary educational reform issues confronting Federal and (primarily) New Jersey state government will provide a relevant frame of reference for the course.
