Catalog description
Prerequisite: Not open to students with credit for POLS 2218.(Same as ENVL 3451.) A history of cities is provided. Moreover, the structure, people and institutions are examined in the context of the political environment. Decision-making patterns, influence, power, and their relationship to social stratification, are the basis of the lectures. Finally, we address the strong ties between urban and suburban areas. There is strong emphasis on class participation, reading and writing.Faculty: J. POPE
