Prerequisite: Not open to freshmen.Values/Ethics course (V).This course provides an in-depth study of those writers who have figured prominently in the philosophical movement referred to as existentialism. This study will both situate existentialism in the history of philosophy and concentrate on the issues which the existentialist viewpoint raises in order to determine their relevance in and for our lives and our contemporary milieu.Faculty: A.
