Catalog description

The aim of this course is to introduce students to some key questions in philosophy of mind: what do we mean by the "mental", how we should classify mental events the mind-body problem, the problems of consciousness, how far should we should extend such concepts: computers? Animals? Social entities? This course lies at the intersection of philosophy and psychology and will provide students with significant insights into both fields.
