In North America native traditions vary greatly and have borrowed from each other songs, dances, rituals, etc. This course will consider both the similarities and dissimilarities in these tribal traditions. It will seek to discover whether these traditions embody a way of life that stands apart from, yet continues to contribute to, the dominant, majority culture.Faculty: K. DOLLARHIDE
