Catalog description

This course covers the history of Philosophy from Augustine (5th Century) to the Fourteenth Century. Among the subjects to be discussed will be the major philosophers in the Christian (e.g., Aquinas), Jewish (e.g., Maimonides), and Islamic (e.g., Avicenna) traditions, as well as the central themes of Medieval Philosophy (e.g., Metaphysics).
