Catalog description

Open only to MSOT graduate students. This seminar/laboratory course offers a study of use of self and activity in occupational therapy including therapeutic use of self, the underpinnings of activity, activity analysis, and adaptation and grading of activity. The course includes an overview of the utilization of various activities and the application of activity as a treatment tool across the lifespan. Some basic experience with a variety of activities will be offered to facilitate familiarity when designing or modifying activities or adaptive equipment.
