Catalog description

Good decision-making in healthcare is enhanced through empiricism, where formal processes are used to ask pertinent research questions, review the professional contributions of others, analyze appropriate methodologies, conduct suitable statistical analyses, and make informed judgments. Thiscourse provides background in differentiating evidence-based practice and research methodologies. The development of PICOT questions, research questions, and hypotheses will be included. Students earn 50 practicum hours in this course.
