SCHOLARLY WRITING

Catalog description

This course will provide graduate-level nurses with the knowledge and skills to be successful in articulating concepts and ideas in a logical and scholarly manner for writing in various contexts. Emphasis is placed on techniques for conducting searches, scholarly writing, literature reviews, writing for publication, designing professional poster, and podium presentations. Students will be introduced to grant and proposal writing and the requirements for publication in a peer-reviewed professional journal.
