EVIDENCE BASED STRATEGIES TO IMPROVE HEALTH OUTCOMES FOR THE CNL

Catalog description

This course provides students a framework to guide advanced clinical evidence- based inquiry. Students learn how to formulate researchable and clinically relevant evidence-based practice (EBP) questions that will improve health outcomes by performing advanced literature searches and critiquing the strength of current evidence. Students will critically appraise current research and apply current evidence to actual healthcare issues to improve outcomes on a local, regional, national, and global level. Methodologies will be described to improve quality and safety initiatives.
