SENIOR PROJECT

Corequisite: NURS 4337.Prerequisite: NURS 3334, NURS 4336 The Senior Project is designed to provide the senior nursing student the opportunity to integrate previously learned material into a comprehensive change project. Students are expected to implement change theory, critical thinking skills, and the nursing process with a focus on health promotion, disease prevention, health restoration or complementary therapies. Ethics and other relevant theory will be integrated. The focus of the project is to create change in a group of clients identified in a scientific needs assessment. The change must relate to a health issue that is amenable to a nursing intervention. Roy’s Model will be used in the project.
