Catalog description

The focus of study in this course is adaptation to health and illness in the adult patient across the four spheres of care. Students will demonstrate beginning competencies in the knowledge, skills, and attitudes applying Roy’s Model in designing and implementing patient centered and culturally sensitive care for adults in various care settings. The nursing process, critical thinking, clinical judgment, evidence-based practice, quality and safety, ethics, interprofessional collaboration, and healthcare technology are implemented for the compassionate care of young, middle, and older adults. NURS 3100 - 4 credits NURS 3105 - 2 credits
