Not open to those with credit for ARTP 2111.Arts Course (A). This course introduces the student to music theory from a Jazz perspective. Starting with intervals, scales and harmony, the student will be provided with the foundations necessary to analyze basic jazz standards and apply these concepts to original compositions. This course is the perfect starting point for students interested in Jazz composition or improvisation.
