Catalog description

Using a multidisciplinary approach, this course presents an overview of global health issues through examination of major determinants of health and key areas of disease burden. It explores a variety of critical and contemporary global health topic including: links between health, disease, and socio-economic development. global pandemic, measurement, and trends; culture and health seeking behavior, water, sanitation, health and human rights; global health partnerships, and the millennium development goals.
