Catalog description

This course will provide a broad-spectrum overview of the taxonomy, morphology, physiology, and natural history of marine mammals including cetaceans, carnivores, and sirenians. Particular emphasis will be placed on the diverse adaptations exhibited by marine mammals to aquatic environments. Current research, with a focus on local New Jersey species, will be discussed.
