Prerequisite: MARS 2202, CHEM 2110 and CHEM 2115, 8 credits in MATH or PHYS.Primarily a laboratory course focusing on physical, chemical and geological oceanographic principles. The relationship between these principles and the biology of marine organisms is considered. Emphasis is on data collection, analysis and interpretation. There may be limited field work.Faculty: G.
