PREP FOR FLORIDA KEYS GEOLOGY

Catalog description

A course to prepare the student for GEOL/MARS 3121, Florida Keys Geology, a field trip to the Florida Keys in Summer term. The course will be a review of the general principles of sedimentary rocks, geology and tropical depositional environments. This course will also introduce the student to Florida Geology, coral reef systems and prepare the student for field work in the Florida Keys. The itinerary, budget and travel arrangements will also be prepared.Faculty: D. PATRICK
