Catalog description

This course will consist of lectures, laboratory sessions and hands on field demonstrations on the different instrumentation used for underwater remote sensing. Emphasis will be on the global positioning system, side scan sonar, magnetometer and remotely operated vehicle. The course will be held at the Marine Science and Environmental Field Station. The field demonstrations will be conducted in the Nacote River, the Mullica River and Great Bay using College research vessels.Faculty: STAFF
