GENDER, WAR AND GENOCIDE

This course examines the many ways that acts of genocide and war crimes -and the perception of those crimes - are "gendered." Topics include gender-specific affects on victims, the relationship between gender and violent participation in/support of war or genocide, and the role of gender in peace movements and post-conflict resolution.
