Prerequisite: LITT 2123. Not open to students with credit for LITT 2150.Historical consciousness course (H).This is a Classical course.The poetry and imaginative/narrative prose of the Hebrew/Christian Bible (e.g., Genesis, Psalms, Job, the Gospels), especially the stories most influential for later authors (e.g., Eden, David, Daniel, Jesus). Analysis of Biblical origins, structure, transmission and translation. Not a religion course.Faculty: K. PANAGAKOS
