Prerequisite: Junior standing in LITT required. This course is recommended for LITT majors seeking teacher certification. Open to juniors and seniors only. Pre-1700 Course. A review of major Greek works from Homer to Plato, with emphasis on the relationship of the works and their themes to the context of ancient Greek civilization and the continuing message of those works and that culture to our own times.Faculty: K.
