This course offers an in-depth study of the Greek and Latin words used in scientific and medical terminology. Students in the sciences, health sciences, and related fields will become more conscious of words and their history and will increase their English vocabulary by studying how words are formed, by learning Greek and Latin elements in English words, and by improving their ability to use a dictionary effectively.
