MAPPING HISPANIC CULTURES II

Catalog description

Prerequisite: One of the following with a minimum grade of C-: LANG 2140, LANG 2142, LANG 2144, LANG 2200, LANG 2240. Offered Spring term only. Through informative readings, conversation activities, cinema, native guest speakers, and technology applications, students will "visit" the Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America, the Caribbean, and Spain in this part two intermediate level Spanish course. Students will research historical figures, landmarks, geography and culture, and report and share their discoveries through various student-produced projects. This course will fulfill partial language requirements in the History program.
