Catalog description

Prerequisite: (PUBH 1100 or HLTH 1101) and PUBH 2432 are recommended. Permission of Instructor is required. Attention is focused on understanding the social, psychological, and environmental determinants of health behavior. The role of health education in promoting individual and community health is examined, as well as the fundamentals of planning, implementing, and evaluating health education programs.
