HEALTH POLICIES AND ISSUES

Catalog description

Permission of Instructor is required. The course covers current trends and topics in the health industry such as the health providers, consumers, delivery systems, politics, costs, and technologies. The student will learn what effect these trends have upon the individual, community, and nation. Business, health, and social service students should know about health policy and how it is formulated. Three in-class exams are required.
