CANNABIS STUDIES INTERNSHIP PREPARATION

Equivalent Course to GEN 3243 Preparation for Cannabis Internship, students will not earn credit for both. Restricted to Juniors and Seniors ONLY. This course is required for students in the Cannabis Studies minor and should be taken prior to the internship. This course work covers professionalism, internship learning outcomes, business and innovation in the cannabis industry in New Jersey and nationally, research on medicinal and recreational cannabis as well as industrial and commercial hemp, types of organizations and employers providing internships, tools for identifying areas of interest, strategies for connecting the internship to previous course work, and career preparation.
