Catalog description

Equivalent Course to GEN 2347 Medical Cannabis, students will not earn credit for both. This class will focus on the use of medical marijuana to treat patients in New Jersey and beyond. We will discuss the history of cannabis, as well as the evolving political and medical landscape that has shaped the legislation regarding medical marijuana. Focus will also be placed on the treatment of the patients who qualify for the program versus their experience with traditional pharmaceuticals.
