Catalog description
This course examines social interactions, both verbal and nonverbal, as they relate to cultural perspectives, individual differences, and the transmission of knowledge. Students will be introduced to various social interaction patterns as embodied in the literature of cultural anthropology, sociology, and education. Specifically, the course will allow students an opportunity to examine their own cultural and social biases, as well as interpersonal communication patterns among various cultural groups.
