Open only to students in the Honors Program. Discussion of central questions about consciousness that are currently being asked and debated by influential thinkers in psychology, philosophy, and biology. Topics include the unconscious and conscious mind, theories attempting to describe consciousness and how it should be studied, the location of consciousness in the brain, and the evolutionary purpose of consciousness.
