Catalog description

Using approaches from sociology, anthropology, history, philosophy, law, political science and social work, students will explore the concept of human rights. They will learn about the role of the United Nations and of governmental and non-governmental organizations in protecting human rights. They will research the range of human rights issues in our contemporary world.
