SOCIAL NETWORK ANALYSIS

Catalog description

This course analyzes the structure of social networks in order to understand how they can facilitate the flow of information and the mobilization of resources. The course will examine how this type of analysis is applied in the fields of marketing, criminology and organizational communication. Students will analyze the structure of their own personal social networks using the UCINET software package.
